This  is  a 3 hr  Mackerel fishing trip. Great for kids!

Ground fishing trips are 9-10 hr off shore trips. Haddock limits are 15 fish per person and have to be 17 inches or bigger. 

Giant Bluefin Tuna are Considered 73 inches or bigger and must be sold commercially when caught. The charter will receive a discount on their charter. However, if the tuna is below 73 inch it can be harvested recreationally and brought home for dinner.  These trips leave early in the morning and are 10hrs long.  

This is a fun trip, and we can leave at anytime of the day and head out to watch these giant creatures gracefully swim though out our waters  up here in the northeast. While out on these trips you can see whales, dolphin, Mola mola, sharks, and some times sea turtles. 

Weather plays a big part in what we do, it can get rough while out at sea and become uncomfortable for many.
Here at Big Blue Charters of Newburyport we want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable  experience.  That’s our #1 goal. With that being said we have the right to cancel any trip due to weather or forecasted weather. I’d rather be on land wishing I was out at Sea, than out at Sea  wishing I was on land.  All trips can be rescheduled.
